Louvretie Safety Cord/Chain Device. All cord and chain operated blinds are required by law to be fitted with a child safety device. Our safety device is Bureau Veritas certified safe for your peace of mind. Louvretie UK Ltd has developed a new safety device that can be used both inside and outside a recess. The safety device can be use with any type of blind that uses cords or chains for functional use. Our safety device can also be used with the Louvertie large tieback (purchased separately) which slots onto the device to securely and neatly tieback your vertical blinds. Please note that the tieback can only be used for VERTICAL blinds, but the safety device can be used universally with any blind that functions using a cord or chain.
